WebOct 15, 2005 · I have a TCI C6 that is leaking from around the front. 4 posts. 7-LitreKidd. 4. Jul 04, 2005 #1. pump. I have replaced the front seal twice and still leaks. Both times I had the trans out of the car the torq converter was completly dry on the outside, indicating that its not the front seal leaking. The fluid is comming out of the bell housing. WebNov 20, 2010 · I have a 1977 ford c6 automatic transmission that pours out about 3oz of fluid between the torque converter and dust shield/bellhousing as soon as the engine is turned off. it has a NEW front seal, NEW torque converter and 11 quarts of fluid in the transmission including whats in the converter. can anyone tell me whats wrong?

WebApr 23, 2013 · You do not need a pump alignment tool for a C6. The one shown is for a C3. Completely different animal. Make sure the bushing and seal are installed square.
