WebJul 23, 2008 · This is a newly built FlyFly F-86 Sabre 'Big-Foamy' EDF jet. Total of 2 flights- she flies great! Fixed landing gear set-up ( you can always add retracts later). I am moving into turbines and this does not do it for me any longer... Finished in Aluminum self adhesive tape for a miraculous looking finish! Also acts to protect the foam! May I know which one (if any) is more suitable as a belly lander (on grass)? I can see that the wing roots of the F-100 are slightly off the bottom of the fuselage, whereas the F-86 seems be fully low-wing.
