Whenever he selects a text/command from the terminal, the selected portion of text gets copied to clipboard automatically (without right click + copy). He then presses (Shift+Insert) to paste it somewhere else.

But what is copied in the primary (by selecting text) is not what goes in the clipboard (secondary) and as such not accessible by the right click and then paste option.
