WebPLAN YOUR VISIT. Our opening hours are 10am - 5pm, last admission is at 4pm and our gift shop will close at the same time. All visitors must check-in at the visitors centre, located next to the car park. The Castle was built into a hill, subsequently the terrain is uneven with many steps, slopes and steep footpaths throughout the estate. Many of our footpaths are unsuitable for wheelchair users or pushchairs and slopes can be tiring for a person assisting.
