Webb15 juli 2013 · Google "Ford Ka heater switch test" there is a video showing how to test the heater control switch, it won't help to test for power on the valve wires as there is constant power feed to the valve but it is controlled by pulsing the power. The video shows how to test if your heater switch is functioning correctly. Webb31 jan. 2009 · Basically, about 18mths ago my heater went hot regardless of the setting on the dashboard. After about a week it was suddenly cold; again with no ability to get it hot. I never did anything about it until about a month ago. After searching it seemed the problem was a faulty heater control valve, so I got a new one off eBay for about £20.
