The movie's version has the drunk and evidently depressed John downing a handful of pills, stumbling onto the diving board of his mansion's pool, declaring that his "next trick" will be killing himself, and going limp as he falls in the water. WebFor me, the three best scenes of this movie are the Tiny Dancer sequence, the Rocket Man sequence, and the Goodbye Yellow Brick Road sequence, not because they incorporated 3 of his most well known songs, and 3 which are among my own personal favorites of his, but because of the narrative impact it had on those specific junctures of his life.
