WebAlex Scott was born on 14 October 1984 in London and was brought up in Tower Hamlets by her mother Carol McKee. Her parents split up when she was seven, and Alex spoke to Woman's Hour about the abuse she received from her father. Alex started to play football for Arsenal when she was just eight years old.
