WebGoby fish are native to rivers and estuaries of the Black and Caspian sea basins. While these seemingly tiny creatures appear harmless, the growing goby fish population is a major concern for the health of the Great Lakes. They were first identified in North America in the late 1980's; found in the St. Clair River, just north of Windsor. WebAdult Round Goby are 6 to 16 cm long, with a cylindrical body, and a rounded to blunt snout.
