The lacquer thinner used in gloss paints will produce a wet looking gloss finish, the 91 ipa knocks the wet look out and is a more natural just glossy finish. Both buff up beaitifully. The trick with X-22 is to thin with Tamiya X-20A. You want to thin quite heavily, i.e. if you have any sort of pebbled or grained finish, the mix is too thick.
