WebI have a thinkpad X1 carbon 5th gen at work and the fan literally never stops even if no apps are open and the CPU at 1-2%. I can't do much because I can't install or configure much settings but just wanted to know what could be the cause of this and what might be the result of this always on fan. In both cases running teams makes the computers heat up to exceptional levels such that the cooling fans have to go to maximum RPM to try and dissipate the heat.
